Fairtrade assists disadvantaged producers in the developing world by building a trading structure that provides access to markets in developed countries. This trading structure is designed to ensure that all producers receive a greater share of the rewards from their labours, so that they and their families may enjoy a fair standard of living.
We have been supporting and trading with two such companies for many years, both of which equally support the ideals of Fairtrade and have assisted small holding growers to achieve Fairtrade certification. Regular audit programmes are conducted at origin to ensure all requirements are maintained. Additionally we provide knowledge and guidance to assist with the development of these businesses into high quality reliable operations.
Our Fairtrade sugars are produced in Malawi and provide a range of high quality sugars whilst the Faitrade organic sugars are produced in rural Paraguay in a dedicated organic factory that has developed into a highly technical facility. We offer the following Fairtrade sugar products to the industrial and retail markets.
